A clever title would be handy

Like my week of lazy blogging? But, really, there was nothing overly newsworthy going on here last week; just a whole lotta staying at home. Which makes for mostly boring posts, you know.
I did go out with the girls Thursday night for my friend Jenny’s birthday dinner. It’s pretty much an annual tradition, although the place and crowd sometimes varies a little. I love my people, but an occasional night out with the girls is a bit of chocolate “icning” on the proverbial cake.
(I just heard Dolly snort her coffee.)

Friday Andy carved pumpkins with the kids (although Drew thought the whole thing rather boring…no matchbox cars in sight) and then we had dinner over at Sarah’s house and let the kids get candy from one of her neighbors.
On Sunday, would you believe it, we were late to church even with that extra hour. They were inspecting the bridge on the interstate and we sat in a standstill for at least 45 minutes. It was completely aggravating. At least we weren’t the only ones.
This next week is already filling up, including a special treat for the kids and I on Thursday. So I’m sure I’ll have lots more to say.

Well, I did snort, but thankfully I had already finished my coffee. Thank you horrible time change, I was up at 5:oo!! Can’t wait for Thursday!!
Lucky me…can’t wait to hear whatcha got going on Thursday.
By the way, uneventful is good.
Oh, and I totally thought you misspelled icing, but evidently, I’m not privy to the inside joke, huh?

I agree…sometimes uneventful is just what you need. Although just kicking back at home does not make for scintillating blogging, which is why I haven’t had a post up in a few days myself. :)
