Dear sunshine, how I love you
By Moriah on March 5th, 2009
I admit it’s been a really long past couple of weeks. The kids being sick basically shut us in (which I’m known not to do well with…I like my socializing and trips to Target) and it was glorious to start fresh again with preschool on Tuesday and then quality time at the playground yesterday.
We were the only people there and not a cloud in sight. The kids quickly shed their coats and ran around like freed puppies. I had thought to bring a travel mug of hot tea, which kept me warm and I was perfectly content to sit and watch. (Or push a swing when one of the girls required my services.)
I don’t know about you, but I am anxiously looking forward to the spring.

Oh, yes!! Let’s all say it together . . .
Come quickly, dear Springtime, come quickly!!
Agreed. I went to visit Jen in and it was a beautiful 70 degrees. Back here in Utah..43 with snow and rain – bummer.
us too! My kids’ personalities just light up when it’s nice outside! We’re enjoying upper 70s all week. The park is our friend.
hehehehe, I saw some ‘happy lites’ (light therapy)at Costco and thought about getting them for you! :-D
AMEN, SISTA!!!
It’s been spring-like here this week, but springtime in the Rockies is lame-o. Snow in the forecast for the weekend. :(
Looks like you should be having a good weekend to look forward to – 70′s!!!!
Mmhmm we are wantin’ some spring time. I drove to work in the sun today, but then went out to see it hailing. And yes, I left my coat at home…because it was sunny for a minute. I’m hoping this means a lamb type of end of the month.
I’m still feeling sunny from yesterday but have sipped on my tea for much longer today (with the gray).
