What I Haven’t Told You

is that I am 14 weeks pregnant.
Ever since my dear, sweet cousin lost her precious twins a little over a month ago (which I mentioned vaguely), I’ve struggled and struggled with telling anyone our news; I just didn’t have the heart or the words.
I still don’t.
But I also know that it would be really awkward one day to start talking about a new baby right out of the (hopefully clear) blue sky.
(And I’m also too vain to want you to have to wonder if I’ve just eaten one too many hamburgers at every meal for the last several weeks. Which may or may not be the case anyway.)
So as you rejoice with us, please continue to lift my cousin and her hubby up in prayer.
And PS – Today is our 7th anniversary!

Congratulations!….but we already knew. Stephen can normally tell when women are pregnant even early on. He knew before I did that I was pregg. He told me awhile back that you were. Don’t ask how he can tell, I personally would rather not know what it is he observes about all the women around him!!! ;)

I’m really, really happy for you, and I also prayed for your cousin (and others) yesterday. My heart is always heavy on Mother’s Day for women that it’s a difficult day to endure.

Congratulations on both accounts! I understand your struggle. My girlfriend lost a baby just as I was preparing to share our happy news. I struggled just as you have been with telling anyone.

The day I found out about Bry I cried the whole day, I totally understand not knowing what to say. However, I am very excited for you! Maybe it’ll be another boy for Drew so he can have a friend later on besides Max. :)
And tell Nicky this doesn’t mean she has to have another one so fast, I don’t know her 3rd yet, she can’t keep doing it to me.
How exciting!! I’m hoping for a brother for Drew. Congrats on your anniversary too…that also means 7 years out of college…where has the time gone?

Congrats on the baby and the anniversary! Tomorrow is our 8th anniversary, but we’re not quite keeping up with you in the kid department. Yesterday being mother’s day I had a hard time, struggling to be happy when I knew it would be a sad day for so many other moms. It was good to see you briefly yesterday. You so do not look 14 weeks pregnant!
