I think she has ESP
On Tuesday night (Andy’s day off), he told the kids to get a stack of books and they’d read together before bed. Madeline brought him this:

We took it as a sign and told them about THEIR new baby. You would have thought we told them Christmas was in the morning.
Drew was very helpful with name suggestions. The first was “if it’s a boy, let’s name him Andrew!”
Me: “We already have two Andrews.”
Drew: “NO! We have Andy and Drew, and then Andrew!” (That wouldn’t be confusing or anything.)
Next, he suggested ‘Baby Sebastian,’ but “NOT like Nicky’s Baby Sebastian, this would be OUR Baby Sebastian.”
And then the next morning, “How about Baby Olivia?”
Thank you sweetie, but I think we’ll come up with something a little more original than the recent baby names of all our friends.
And I definitely have to put my foot down against any suggestions of ‘Baby Max.’

Precious Mama,
Great post!!! I am so excited for our #4 grandchild!! I love Madeline and Drew’s comments!! They are all so ver fun. Mom
he he…Well at least now when they tell you that your tummy is big you can remind them why.
Caleb wants to name our baby Uniqua, like from the Backyardigans.
Love it! We got a lot of crazy suggestions too…For a while, it was Avery. Go figure. Then it was Sam (but we have a cousin named that). But lo, in the end the parents did decide. Part of the perks, right!
isn’t it so sweet that they get just as excited??? Love it!
Anytime Nan heard ANYTHING that sounded fancy, she would add that her ongoing list of new baby names. She began by suggesting names like Star, but eventually moved on to fancier names like (I kid you not) Casino Royale.
Yikes.
Kevin wanted to name Ellie “Jasmine”….he’d recently watched “Alladin” and was pretty smitten 8-)!
We always like James :) :)
Just so you know, our Sebastien is spelled with an E. Maybe it would be different enough if you spelled it with and A.
Hah.
Yeah, I knew. And no, it wouldn’t. :)
That is SO cute. I’m glad they are excited.
My husband and I are moving to Nigeria in just three months so we created a new blog. Please check it out and if you want to tell your friends or link to it that would be great. I’d love to have a community to stay in touch with while we are gone.
Blessings,

How cute, Moriah!!!
I think you should find a name that begins with a Z. Then you’d have A-Z, and you could be finished. Of course, if you want more kids, than don’t choose the “Z” name. Your perogative.
That picture of M with that new baby book is priceless!!!!
Kids come up with some funny stuff! How sweet of him to suggest names!
That is adorable! I think you should stick with Andrew. Why change something that works so well!? ;)
I’m w/ Amanda. Except you could refer to him as “Baby Andrew”… like until he’s 30. I’ll bet he’s love that. :)
You already have such great kid names. I can’t wait to hear what the new baby’s name will be!
ahem… I’ll bet he *would* love that… sorry!
