Just say no
…to mullets.
We had the best day of the week so far yesterday and even had Chick-Fil-A for dinner (which Madeline promptly ratted me out to Andy). Adelaide’s hair has been driving me nuts and so last night I finally handed her a popsicle and plopped her in the tub and trimmed her up.
The only recent before picture I have you can’t actually see much:
(Except that clearly it was bothering her too, trying to cover it up with a hat like that.)
Her hair grows very fast in the back, while the sides and top stay wispy and thin. I’m also trying to grow her bangs out, which means we’re just going to keep trimming the back for now. (Plus I think she looks cute in a bob.)
After:

(And yes, she’s drinking milk out of a bottle. Don’t judge me.)
This one you can kind of see better how it’s stacked in the back and a little longer in front:

Much, much better. And hey, it was free!
And, as always, the hair is still far from being equal:
I’ll let you guess whose hair came from what side.

HA HA HA! I LOVE that old post!!! So funny that my girls are like that too!
Love A’s new ‘do.
You did a great job, as usual.
That bob is adorable!! You do a great job. Think of how much money you will save in the next 15 years! (Okay, add it all up, and then go shopping :)
Looks fabulous, and she looks so cute! We had Sonic for lunch yesterday. :)
Okay. I’m bringing Kate over RIGHT NOW.
Great job! I so wish I knew how to cut girls hair!
I fed 2 of mine Sonic twice this week. There’s something wrong with that.
BTW, you could start a side business of kids’ cuts and make a killing!
I WISH I had Sonic twice this week. Mmmm.
How adorable! I love her sweet new cut!
That’s a hard cut to do yourself. I’m impressed.
I’ve started giving Recession Hair Cuts around here, too. It only costs me the price of a ChickFilA milk shake…Which is what I have to give them to let me cut their hair!
Adelaide’s hair cut turned out SOOO cute. I love how it is stacked. You did a great job! I think she looks darling with a bob cut. It’s amazing how hair can make such a big difference. Brooklynn was bald until a couple of months ago. All of the sudden she seems like a little girl rather than a baby. It will be interesting to see what the next babies hair is like (for both of us)! :)
Cute hair! My daughter needs hers cut, but I have no idea how to do it myself. So we don’t get it cut often. But hers looks like that when it is cut. I love bobs.
Well you KNOW I love the bob haircut :) She looks darling.
