Worth the chaos
By Moriah on June 2nd, 2009
Either we’re really brave or really stupid, but my friend Sarah and I took our kids (minus one of hers) to eat at a (nicer) restaurant last night.
I thought Adelaide would be my biggest challenge, but she was overshadowed in that designation by none other than Drew. It must have been the fact that he was the only male.

Whenever you take little kids out, you just have to prepare yourself that you’ll be eating fast and trying to get out of there before the meltdown begins. But even so, it was fun, VERY good food, and hey! WE DIDN’T HAVE TO COOK!

I’m glad you got out and enjoyed a nice meal with your friend!
I’ve got to get out today, but I’m thinking more like Chick-Fil-A drive thru while running errands!
yuuuuum. Will Andy’s restaurant deliver to B’ham? Whatcha think?
Looks like a lot of fun! Just think, this time next year you’ll have to get two tables. :) Can’t wait to see how the girl/boy ratio changes with these two new babies!
I always think it is worth the chaos, Jason is always certain it isn’t worth it. I love good food that I don’t have to cook.
Sometimes that’s fun! (But not on a daily basis. ;-))
good for you! i hope you got to enjoy your dinner! when my kiddos were little, my girlfriend & i would travel out together like this… a 2:4 ratio seemed more managable (& more enjoyable!) than a 1:2 ratio… math would say the two are equal, but i know better!
Those kids are gorgeous! Been through it myself. I always get home and ask myself, “What did I spend $80 on?”
