Before & After: Hair Edition

Yesterday was a really great day.

(And my mom even let me and the baby sleep in until 11:15!)

Sometime around lunch my hairdresser friend texted me “can you come in today? Turns out I’m already working late tomorrow.” We had been planning on her cutting my hair after work today — it pays to have friends in high places.

So Arianna and I made our first trip out together to the hair salon. I was going to have Jenny take a before pic with my phone and then never did. The only one that can sort of serve as a before photo is this one of me blogging/emailing from the hospital waiting for Arianna to be born (and you can’t even really tell that my hair goes way down my back):

And then baby and I left the salon and went and found me some new jeans.

See? New hair and new jeans = A Very Great Day.

Wait, you wer BLOGGING while in labor??? I didn’t think contractions were as bad as some people make it sound, either, but I don’t think I would be able to blog while giving birth. You are truly an amazing woman!

No, I was actually WAITING to go into labor. 7cm and no contractions in sight. Weird, I know. I did already have my epidural in that photo, though.

Love it, Moriah! I bought new jeans yesterday too! And got my hairapy on Monday. Great week for us both. ;)

and attempting to all of the above AT HOME= ONE REALLY BAD DAY!
(My hair is currently “sun-in” ORANGE.) AHAHHHHHHHHHHH. Splash Salon is staying open late for rejects like me to cure my current problem. (for a nice fee, i suppose)
