DPP Day 8: (Cheater Post) Girls’ Room
I mentioned back in November that we were in the process of re-doing the girls’ room. Andy’s parents had brought a new-to-us crib that his dad graciously painted white.
Today the rest of the furniture came! (Which was a total surprise because I never did get a shipping confirmation.) And, conveniently, my folks still had a few hours before their flight so my dad was able to put it together. (Thanks, Dad!!)
Before photos can be found here and here.
AFTER:

(Please excuse Pooh’s state of undress.)
The bed is actually a twin-over-full bunk bed. We didn’t put the top on because we don’t currently need it and we also don’t have a twin mattress yet.
Madeline and her mama are thrilled.

Really, really cute! Where did you get the bunk beds…it’s hard to find a classy bunk bed but I really like those.
Looks so good!!
So are Madeline and Adelaide going to be sleeping in the same bed? My youngest sister and I shared a full bed until I got married. We always liked having someone to share with!
Love it! It looks so pretty and fresh, Madeline must be thrilled. Makes me excited to have have the new boy/girl rooms to think about for later this winter….
I love those colors!
I love it! You are so good in the decor world!
I love it! And the bedding is so cute. I bet your girls feel SO big in their new bed.
Did you parents make it home? I prayed for them to be safe.
Love it! I started to get bunk beds for the kids last year and now I wish I had. When will you put the top bunk on?
It looks great! We are in the planning stage of redoing our girls’ room. Who knows when we’ll get to the doing stage.
Is it an optical illusion, or is the footboard higher than the headboard? My boys will have bunkbeds at some point. I can’t wait to free up some floor space!
love the colors. My neice’s room has that color scheme, and I’ve always loved it.
Yeah, I thought the photo made it look that way, too, but they ARE the same height.
