Great dress! I love the altered sleeves…very nice detail.
It is so hard to find clothes to nurse in. I lucked up when Levi was tiny and found a couple of good nursing dresses.

I got a shirt dress from Target clearance right after little E was born, wore it today…makes nursing SO much easier and it’s nice to have a dress…love the polka dots though! And your handy work, very nice.

Well, it’s SUPER cute and I am so impressed that you can even figure out how to amend something to make it cuter. Wowza.

I bought a Simplicity pattern for a cape last weekend (for Abbey to be Little Red Riding Hood) and evidently I’m not geting the simplistic part of the pattern. Sigh. It’s my weekend project. I’ll have to show you the finished project. Hopefully I’ll still have a few hairs left on my head.

Fun and creative work! I’d never have thought to do that to the sleeves. Sorry about the extra time on the hem….if I had a dime for every time I’ve made a dumb sewing mistake….I’d be rich enough to hire a seamstress!

I can never find a good dress, thus, lots of pants. Love this one, you could always “sew” like me and just you safety pins, doesn’t take near as long. ;) Hopefully, I’ll see you soon!

Very nice! I think that is the most useful aspect of sewing: alterations. What a big difference! Sorry about the extra hours…been there, done that.
