With kids in the house, you should have some anyway.It is expensive ($27 gallon?)but it will seal in things like silicon caulk, Desitin, Vasoline.(I read your blog....I know your kids;o) I have done the same thing several times, cussed myself out, then remembered the Zim's. Stop! Don’t sand. Use a really good primer(Zim’s).
