(Seriously? Only four of you did anything fun for Memorial Day?! Y’all need to get out more!)
Last week when we went out for our anniversary, these were sitting on my seat when I opened the car door:
Dried and gone now, but I’ll always have the photo. (And the sweet husband.)

That was very sweet.
I’ve always told John not to buy me flowers because I think they’re such a waste BUT a couple of weeks ago I hosted a reception at church and came home with the extra flowers. They’re SO cheery. I asked J if I could add a fresh flower allowance to our monthly budget. He readily agreed and said, “Mer, you’ve been telling me not to buy them for years. I’m all for it.” So…YAY!
