And it’s up!

Yesterday, ALL BY MYSELF, I drug the remaining top-bunk box down from the attic, and started getting the bed set up. Andy had to pick up an extra bolt (one of the included ones was stripped or something) on his way to work, but we were able to finish last night. The kids were so excited they barely paid attention to their bedtime story.
(That photo doesn’t show the depth well, but it’s really a full on the bottom and a regular-sized twin on top.)
Arianna slept in there, too, in the crib. She woke up once (at 2 a.m.), nursed, and then slept the rest of the night.
(And there was much rejoicing.)

NICE! We are contemplating a twin over full bunk too. I’ve been eyeing the one at Costco for a few weeks now…
Ahhh – how wonderful! Your bedroom to yourselves again — don’t you feel like a grownup!? And those bunks are A-dorable. Very Nice Room. Good job, mom :)
Great news! Yay for having your room back! Smart to have the full on bottom for sleepovers and guests.
I also enjoy taking on probably-too-big projects by myself. John is always super surprised to come home and see what I’ve done (sometimes not pleasantly though). Trying to stop doing at least the heavy-lifting type projects until baby is born.

That’s really cute! We just bought a twin size bed, and we’ll add a trundle, but now I wish we had down the twin over queen bunk… cute!

I love it! I sorta wish we had gotten one like that with the bigger bed on bottom. Oh well, I’ll just envy yours. Love their bedding!
