I’m seeing safety pins in my sleep
“You should see this clothes rack!” – 9:31 p.m. Sunday, text message to my friend Sarah (who is also consigning in this sale). I meant how utterly full it was, but little did I know that five minutes later, the whole thing would come crashing down.

A side view:

And then it crashed further, down to the floor:

I just had to laugh. I’ve been working on this sale for a few days and as you can see, it sort of took over my living room. A neighbor added some stuff, as did the girl that watches my kids. There’s also a bunch of Andy’s clothes that he apparently doesn’t wear anymore. But, obviously, the majority of it was mine. (What can I say? Clothes are my thing.) I still had stuff from high school. (Clearly time to clean out.)
Anyway, I finally got everything tagged yesterday, the van loaded, dropped the kids off, and ran over to the sale drop-off location. It was such a huge burden lifted, I can’t even tell you. There are a few stragglers that I need to put back in the attic but I’m just glad to have my house (and sanity) back.
(Why do I do these things to myself?!)

I know you’re glad to have that over with. Hope you make lots of money! To buy MORE clothes of course. It’s a vicious cycle.
BTW, did my Fun Mom Friday activity last night. I’m excited to link up this week!
…because you’re crazy…. :) Oh, wait, because you will make money!!!
hahaha. Oh man. This is why I haven’t done a big sale in forever. I got burned out. You will make some money though!
oh my! I just dropped off a ton to my local sale, too. Looks like you will make some good dough there!
Just had to laugh, you should see the containers of children’s clothes I have washed, labeled and gotten together for a yard sale then donation. Can’t believe how much I saved! LOL
Have a great night!
Jill
I don’t ever see myself contributing to one of these sales BUT I really appreciate the people who do take the time like you did because I love shopping at them! Glad you have your sanity back!
