Recovery Day

By Moriah on July 27th, 2010

Anyone else have those?

It was stormy and gray here yesterday which means we were cooped up inside, trampling all over each other’s toes.  I find it hard to get anything done on days like that — the weather makes me beyond sleepy — and maintaining a positive attitude is an uphill battle.  And, let’s be honest, there were times I miserably failed.

On a happier note, Andy’s phone finally (FINALLY!) came so we took a little trip to deliver it to him at work.  He brought me some coffee and I ended the day on the couch with a book.  So there’s that.

Today, however, the sun is shining and there are dishes and laundry calling my name.  (And sorry about this being quite possibly THE most boring post ever.)

I really wish the dishes and laundry that await me would quiet down. Hope yours do too!

Livinng in an environment of nearly constant summer, I actually LONG for these days! I enjoy the laziness they make me feel, and I often crank up the AC and throw on my one cozy outfit not packed away and curl up with something warm to drink and just watch the gray and rain!! I know its still humid outside though, so choose to lock myself inside those days to preserve my feelings of the chilly home I miss!
I didn’t find your post boring at all!!

Not boring at all!! We have a gray and hazy day ahead of us today and I hope to make the most of it inside. Hope you have another good one, too!

I’m feeling your pain. I love summer, and yet I’m finding myself in a weird funk. Hope today was better.
