Oh. Monday.

By Moriah on August 9th, 2010

We had a fun-filled, busy weekend – friends, shopping, parties, church, swimming; all the good stuff. On Saturday Madeline and I stopped in at a trunk show and then bought a new vacuum. (Dirt Devil is now dead to me.) Which means my house is going to be clean really soon since I taught both Drew and Madeline how to use it and they love to vacuum.

Child labor. Love it.

(She also likes to play in the water do the dishes. The counter is a little, um, damp when she’s finished.)

So, yeah. Great weekend. Now back to reality.

I love child labor. Use it daily. My house has never been cleaner. LOL!

I need a new vacuum, too! What kind did you get? (and, do you like it?!)

I need a new vac too, what’d ya get? My kids love vacuuming too. I have almost said the words, “Stop fighting or you won’t get to vacuum…” What kind of twisted sentence is that?
School starts Friday, how about you guys?

I had to smile when I saw Madeline’s dishes — so much plastic, of course! It’s indispensable when you have little ones. Only last year, my eyes opened when I looked at my cupboards and realized I STILL had so much plastic, even though my kids are teens now. Silly! So I gave/threw it all away, and started looking for more elegant items at junk stores. Ahhhhh. :)
