Fun Mom Friday!

(I’m going to interrupt here and just tell you that Madeline tried to do some crazy stunt on the trampoline last night and whip-lashed her neck. She’s pitiful. It’s been a long night for both of us. She’s somewhat better today though.)
Our BIG FUN was going to Birmingham to see some sweet friends last weekend. Our kids have been playing together since they were babies. (Once, Andy and I left Drew on their doorstep when he was about 5 months old, rang the bell and ran. It was so funny peeking around the corner. Baby delivery!)
We ate pizza, played games, had coffee, shopped at Costco (and ate samples), watched movies, had watermelon, played Playdoh; you know, all that fun stuff.

Play dates with close friends is the best!! We did that earlier in the summer – drove an hour and spent the afternoon. I’m hoping to plan another one next month after school starts.
Awww, poor thing! I hope her neck is better soon!
We didn’t get to do fun this week because this is the second week of school here. YES, second. It starts way early!
I love the story of you leaving your son on the doorstep. SoFUN! We have dear, life-long friends in B’ham, too. Every time we visit, we comment how it is such a great place.
i can’t wait for my kids to be old enough for movie time! and now i’m going to have to use the doorstep baby trick on someone i know :0
Glad you had fun on your trip, hope Drew didn’t miss me too much (he said he was going to miss me sooooo much). Can’t wait for Wednesdays….

M, this is a long-term problem I’ve had with blogging for a while, and maybe you can help me. I can’t seem to leave comments on some blogs where the comment box asks me to “select a profile.” I’ve tried “Google Account” (because I have a google acct!), but it doesn’t work. I’ve even tried the “anonymous, but it doesn’t work. It just doesn’t accept my comments, ever. So far, two of the FMF blogs have these kinds of comment boxes. What should I do?

Such fun to spend time with people that you more or less raise your children with. . . looks like you all had a blast!
I took my kids to a lake in the Poconos. Very fun mom points. Too tired to blog. :)
Whew! Can’t believe that was a whole week ago! Fun times! I”m sure I was fun at least once this week….maybe….maybe we’ve just been trying to survive until Grandma gets here.
